Terms of Use

Version 2026-10-06 · Effective 6 October 2026

These Terms explain the rules for using Zayalle. They are written in plain English. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines and the Marketplace Rules.

These Terms are an early-stage template that has not yet been reviewed by a qualified lawyer. They may be updated as Zayalle evolves.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account or using Zayalle (the website, the Orbit assistant and related services, together “Zayalle”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Zayalle. When you create an account we ask you to confirm that you agree to these Terms and that you have read the Privacy Policy, and we keep a record of the version you accepted and when.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, and in any case at least 18 years old, to create an account, offer a skill, post in the Marketplace or contact other users. Visitors under 18 may browse public information only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you use Zayalle on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that business.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the information you give us, for keeping your password secret and for activity that happens through your account. Use a strong password that you do not use elsewhere, sign out on shared devices, and never share one-time codes or password-reset links. Use your real name or a fair, non-misleading display name. Tell us promptly through the contact page if you believe your account has been used without your permission. One person may not use several accounts to avoid a suspension or to manipulate reviews.

4. Zayalle’s role

Zayalle is a discovery and connection platform. We help people find products, businesses, services, independent providers, events, deals, Community Finds and Marketplace posts near them, and we help them get in touch. Unless we clearly say otherwise:

  • Zayalle is not the seller, buyer, service provider, employer, agent or organiser in any arrangement you make with another user or a business;
  • contracts for goods or services are made directly between you and the other party;
  • Zayalle does not inspect goods, supervise work, or guarantee that any listing, person or business is suitable, safe, lawful or available.

5. Businesses

Business listings may be created by owners, by the Zayalle team, by community members or from permitted data sources. Owners who claim a business must provide accurate information and may manage its products, services, deals and hours. A claimed or “owner verified” label means a claim was reviewed; it is not an endorsement or a guarantee of quality. Businesses are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to them, including consumer, pricing, licensing and advertising rules.

6. Products

Product information (name, brand, size, barcode and image) may be shared between all sellers of the same item. Each seller is responsible for its own price, stock status and offer. If you notice incorrect shared product details you can suggest a correction; corrections are reviewed before they change the shared record.

7. Business services

Services listed by businesses are provided by those businesses. Prices and availability shown on Zayalle are indications provided by the business and may change; confirm them directly before you rely on them.

8. Independent providers (Local Skills)

Any account holder may create a provider profile to offer a skill. Providers must describe their skills honestly, hold any licence or qualification that the law requires for the work they offer, and must not offer prohibited or regulated services they are not allowed to provide. Zayalle does not verify provider identity, qualifications, licences, insurance or experience, and every provider profile states “Credentials not verified by Zayalle.” Providers may not claim or imply that Zayalle has verified or endorsed them. Zayalle is not the employer of any provider. Please read the Provider Safety guidance.

9. Community Finds

Community Finds should describe places and services you have genuinely visited or used. They are reviewed before publication and may be edited for clarity, merged with duplicates, sent back for review if other users report changes, or removed. A business shown as a Community Find may claim it.

10. Community Marketplace

The Marketplace lets people post things they are selling, giving away, swapping or looking for, and requests for help. Posts and their discussion threads must follow the Marketplace Rules. Posts expire after a set period and can be marked sold, found or closed. Zayalle may limit the number of posts or messages to prevent abuse.

11. Events

Events are currently published by the Zayalle team from organisers and permitted sources. Registration and tickets are handled by the organiser on their own website; Zayalle does not sell tickets. Dates, times and details can change — check with the organiser.

12. Deals, prices and availability

Prices, deals, stock levels, opening hours and availability are provided by businesses, providers and users. They can be out of date. Deals are shown only within their stated dates, but the business decides whether to honour them. Always confirm important details before you travel or pay.

13. Reviews

Reviews must reflect your own genuine experience. Do not review your own business or provider profile, a competitor, or anything you were paid or rewarded to review without saying so. Businesses may reply to reviews. We may remove reviews that break the Community Guidelines. Reviews describe experiences; they are not a verification of credentials.

14. Your content and images

You keep ownership of the text, photos and other content you add (“your content”). By posting it you give Zayalle a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, display and distribute your content for the purpose of operating, improving and promoting Zayalle, for as long as it is on Zayalle and for a reasonable period afterwards for backups, legal and moderation records. You confirm that you have the rights needed to post your content, including permission from people who can be identified in your photos. Product images may become the shared image for that product for all sellers.

15. Location

Zayalle uses the location you choose — a GPS position only if you allow it in your browser, a point you pick on the map, or an area you select — to show nearby results and to place your posts. Marketplace posts and provider skills show an approximate area rather than an exact address. Do not publish someone else’s home address.

16. Contact information and consent-based sharing

Your account e-mail address and any phone number you give us are private by default. Contact details are shown only where you choose to show them (for example a channel you enable on your provider profile or a Marketplace post) or when you choose to share them with a specific person who has expressed interest. When you share contact details, Zayalle records what you shared and when. Use other people’s contact details only for the conversation they were shared for — never for spam, marketing lists or harassment.

17. External links and third-party services

Zayalle may link to websites, maps, messaging apps, ticketing pages and other services we do not control. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

18. Maps, AI features and external data

Maps. The location picker displays map tiles from a map provider (by default OpenStreetMap). Map data is provided “as is” and may be incomplete; area names shown by Zayalle are the nearest Zayalle area, not a verified address.

AI features. Zayalle uses automated tools, including AI models, to help administrators extract product and price information from brochures and approved websites, and to turn questions into searches in Orbit. AI output can be wrong; extracted data is reviewed by a person before it is published, and Orbit only returns real listings. Do not rely on AI-generated summaries for safety, legal, medical or financial decisions.

External data sources. Some listings come from permitted sources such as OpenStreetMap and other open datasets, official open data, merchant submissions and approved websites. Each imported record keeps its source and licence, is checked for duplicates and reviewed before publication, and never overwrites information managed by a business owner. Attribution required by a source’s licence is shown where that data is used. Zayalle does not copy listings, reviews or photos from services such as Google Maps.

19. Payments outside Zayalle

Zayalle currently has no checkout, payment processing, escrow, delivery or shipping. Any payment you make or receive for goods or services found through Zayalle is arranged directly between you and the other party, at your own risk. Never pay in advance to someone you have not verified, and never share card details, one-time passwords or banking passwords in messages. Promotion fees paid by businesses, where offered, are agreed separately with the business.

20. Prohibited conduct

You must not use Zayalle to:

  • commit or attempt fraud or scams, including advance-fee, fake-payment, phishing or overpayment schemes;
  • impersonate any person, business or Zayalle itself, or misrepresent your affiliation or credentials;
  • offer, request or promote illegal goods or services, including weapons, drugs, counterfeit or stolen goods, fake documents, and adult or sexual services;
  • offer regulated services (for example electrical, gas, medical or transport work) without the licence the law requires;
  • harass, threaten, abuse, discriminate against or stalk anyone, or post hateful, violent or sexually explicit content;
  • post other people’s private information, including addresses, phone numbers or photos, without permission;
  • post spam, misleading prices, fake reviews or duplicate listings, or manipulate rankings;
  • upload malware, files that are not what they claim to be, images of identity documents, or images of other people (especially children) without permission;
  • copy content you do not have the right to use, or infringe trademarks;
  • scrape, crawl or bulk-download Zayalle content, probe or attack our systems, or bypass rate limits, permissions or suspensions;
  • use another person’s account, or create accounts automatically.

21. Moderation and removal

We may review, edit for formatting, hide, remove or decline content that breaks these Terms or our policies, that we reasonably believe is unlawful or unsafe, or that we are asked to remove by a valid legal request. Moderation decisions are made by people and may use reports from users. We are not obliged to monitor everything on Zayalle and cannot guarantee that all problematic content will be found quickly.

22. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or restrict an account, a provider profile, a business listing or Marketplace access if there is a breach of these Terms, a risk to other users, or a legal requirement. Where reasonable we will explain why. You may stop using Zayalle at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). Some records may be kept after deletion where they are needed for safety, moderation or legal reasons.

23. Reporting problems

Use the Report option on listings, provider profiles, posts and messages, or the contact page. Reports go to the moderation team; the reported person is not told who reported them. If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact the local emergency services first.

24. Intellectual property

The Zayalle name, logo, design and software belong to Zayalle or its licensors. You may not use them in a way that suggests endorsement without permission. Data from open sources (for example OpenStreetMap) is used under its licence and attributed where required.

25. Copyright and content complaints

If you believe content on Zayalle copies your work, misuses your trademark, impersonates you or shows your personal image without permission, please use the process in the Content & Copyright Policy. We review complaints and may remove content and act against repeat infringers.

26. Disclaimers

Zayalle is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Much of the information on Zayalle comes from businesses, users and outside sources, and we do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate, current or suitable for your purpose. We do not guarantee any seller’s identity, any item’s condition, any provider’s skill or any transaction. Use your own judgement, and take extra care with payments, meetings in person, work inside your home and services involving children, elderly people, health, electricity, gas or vehicles. Nothing in these Terms excludes any right you have under consumer law that cannot legally be excluded.

27. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Zayalle is not liable for losses arising from arrangements between users or between users and businesses, from content provided by others, or from indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

28. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Zayalle evolves. Each version has a version number and an effective date shown at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your rights, we will ask you to review and accept the new version the next time you sign in. Continuing to use Zayalle after a non-material update means you accept it.

29. Governing law

To be confirmed after legal review. The governing law and the courts that will hear disputes will be stated here once Zayalle’s operating entity and jurisdiction are confirmed (for example the United Arab Emirates and/or India). Until then, these Terms do not take away any protection you have under the mandatory laws of the place where you live.

30. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the contact page.

These policies may be updated as Zayalle evolves.
